As a champion of Envision Sacramento, he has been involved in every aspect of the site, from content creation to promotion to idea implementation. Sacramento is one of our most engaged MindMixer communities, with more than 1,200 participants, 380 ideas and 880 comments, and conversation is still going strong.

Meg Kelly is a project manager with Biodiversity Project, the creative communications organization that is working with community leaders in the Winnebago Waterways region of Wisconsin on their popular MindMixer site, Weigh In on the Winnebago Waterways. Thanks to a devoted outreach campaign and a steady back-and-forth between site participants and site administrators, the online community has grown to 325 participants.

Beverly Thames is a site administrator with the San Mateo County Speakout MindMixer site. Since launching in mid-February, the site has generated more than 90 community ideas, and racked up more than 300 votes on a survey about tax spending.

In addition to the new capital resources, we have added some amazing investors that will serve as mentors and motivators. With Google Fiber, improved technology, and so many incredible cultural assets in our city that could warrant a few amazing field trips each year, we have an opportunity to reach out to other KCPS schools to leverage resources across a broader student population, create an exchange of ideas across campuses, and forge relationships among students that will one day attend high school together.
